Cabbage Soups are soups made with fresh cabbage, sauerkraut, or red cabbage. Zelňačka, often made with sauerkraut, sausage, and potatoes, is one of the best-known Czech cabbage soups. Related variants include Savoy cabbage soup, versions of borscht that contain cabbage, and soups made with head cabbage and thickened with roux.
