Asparagus Dishes are dishes made with asparagus, a spring delicacy whose main season in Czechia is May and June. White asparagus, grown without exposure to light beneath ridged soil, typically has a milder flavor, while green asparagus, grown above ground in the light, tends to have a more pronounced flavor. Asparagus can be boiled, grilled, roasted, baked with hollandaise sauce, or served cold with vinaigrette. In Czech cuisine, asparagus soup and asparagus with sauce are traditional spring dishes.
